DENTAL IMPLANT
Implants are artificial tooth roots made of titanium that are surgically placed in the jawbone in the area of tooth loss. Placement of implants is possible with a one or two-stage surgical procedure. Titanium forms a solid foundation for the tooth to be built on it by integrating (boiling) with the bone. Then, the tooth loss in the area is restored with the porcelain tooth placed on the implant. At the same time, implants help protect the patient’s facial structure by preventing bone resorption due to edentulous jawbone.
